About Me

Hello all! My name is Rachel Greene. Yes, like on Friends! I grew up the youngest of three in Salem, Missouri, a town where the livestock and tractors far out number the people. Nevertheless, I had an amazing childhood. I come from a loving family who is more encouraging and inspiring than I could ever have dreamed of having. I graduated from Salem High School in May 2005 and began my college journey in August of the same year. I had the honor and privilege of spending 4 years as an undergraduate in the College of Business and Computer Science at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management in May 2009. I immediately began my Master of Business Administration in June 2009 while also working as a Graduate Assistant in the MBA program. I graduated in July 2010 with my MBA alongside a few of my most precious friends.

While in college I served as Resident Assistant inside the hallowed yellow halls of Leslie for three years alongside some of the most incredible women of God I've ever met. I learned more from my experience as an RA than in all my years of school. For that experience, I'm forever grateful. I was a member of Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) for four and a half years, spending my final year as the team's Vice President. SIFE enabled me to serve people in the Bolivar community through educational outreach projects with the intent of helping these people have a better life. Both of these roles have shaped and molded me into the person I am today and have prepared me for the journey I'm now on.

In August 2010 I began a wild and crazy journey as an employee for Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE). I serve as the Program Manager for the Southeast United States, representing the states of Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. I have the awesome privilege of working with university students who are trying to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in their communities and around the world through the positive power of business! I spend much of my time traveling to visit with the SIFE teams in my territory to help them find ways to improve their teams, projects, and ultimately have a long-lasting impact on the lives of people in their communities.

The most important thing to know about me is that I am not my own. I gave my heart and life to my Lord and Savior in August 1999. I am a Christ-follower, though I am far from perfect. Each day is a battle to overcome the desires of my selfish heart. The past six years I have struggled with more adversity than I ever thought possible, but God has used it to bring me where I am now. I continue to grow and learn in my faith every day, and am thankful for the many people God has placed in my life to help me on my journey.

A few fun facts to know about me: I'm a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan! I love getting lost in a good book, hate scary movies, love walking in the rain, hate cartoon characters, play a mean game of Phase 10, hate being late, love action and stupid humor movies, hate bad attitudes, love to imitate skits from Saturday Night Live, hate soda, love traveling to new places and meeting new people, enjoy spending time outside, and love adding new adventures to my bucket list. Each day is a blessing and should be lived with no regrets and lots of joy. "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4.

I hope you enjoy reading about my journey. I'm an open book so ask me anything!

Blessings,

Rachel
